    Robie Tufts Nature Centre
    Chimney Swifts are fast-moving birds that gather in Chimneys in large groups at dusk during the summer in Nova Scotia. The Robie Tufts Nature Centre has information and interpretive displays that explain this natural phenomenon. Open May 15 to August 31.

    New France - The Electric City
    Located in a lush forest 27 km from Weymouth, this former town turned interpretive centre was ahead of its time, acquiring dynamo powered lights, including streetlights, 30 years before Weymouth, resulting in it being dubbed 'The Electric City'.     World Peace Pavilion
    Opened in 1995 by visiting foreign ministers at the G7 summit, this inspiring pavilion celebrates peace and diversity. The pavilion displays rocks and bricks that have come from all over the world, symbolizing all cultures and their presence on earth. Over 70 countries and have participated in this display of amity, and the display includes many important pieces, including a chunk of the Great Wall of China and a brick from the Berlin Wall.

    Glenora Distillery

    The Glenora Distillery is the only place in North America that distills single malt whiskey. They also produce a variety of white, dark and amber rums.     Trecothic Creek and Windsor Railway

    Kids and adults alike will love this fun railroad, scaled down to be 1/8 of the size of a real train. Enjoy the scenic park, ride in one of the passenger cars or learn about the history and mechanics of trains. The railway uses a real steam locomotive, as well as battery, diesel and gas engines.     Hall's Harbour Lobster Pound

    This facility, like a dog pound for lobsters, can hold an amazing 29480 kg (65,000 lb) of juicy lobsters!     Dill's Atlantic Giant

    Bluenose II

    Mastodon Ridge

    Visitors to Mastadon Ridge in Stewiacke will be greeted by a life-sized replica of the powerful Mastodon, who lived over 89,000 years ago. If the replica seem random, it's not; the remains of one of these gentle giants were found in this spot. The site also has a museum which offers informative displays, a short video and a fossil discovery centre for the kids.
